The Distracted Gamer

Hey gamer friends out there in the world wide webs. This is just a real quick, off the cuff post. No drafts, no brainstorming, bunch of grammar errors, just writing at the top of my head. I haven't posted in about a month and it's because well..I am just the most distracted gamer on planet Earth. I cannot stay focused on a game for very long before I go jump into something else. I can probably count the amount of games I have ever completed 100% using one hand. I get into these moods where its like "hmm I want to play an adventure game" then next week it's like "you know what would be great right now? A first person shooter". Then when the story line of that game starts to unfold its like "well here is an MMORPG I have never tried before.. lets give it a go". Is there something wrong with me? Am I the only one that does this? I call myself "The Sampler" because I just get a little taste of a game before I am pulled into something else. Steam sales do not help either. It's like "damn that's a great deal, I would be stupid not to buy this indie game for .75 cents then never, ever, think about it again...ever".
