DevilutionX Appreciation Post

I just wanted to drop a quick line on how absolutely terrific the app DevilutionX is.

DevolutionX is an application that allows you to play Diablo 1 on modern systems including Android and iOS. You still need a copy of the games DIABDAT.MPQ data file to be able to play DevilutionX. Meaning you need to own the original disc or own the game on GOG. You side load that puppy into your android device, download the app from the app store or Github and your back in Sanctuary baby!

It supports both touch screen and controller that you can map actions too. I am using my Logitech G Cloud device and it runs really well. It also comes with some QoL improvements you can toggle on/off like sprint in town and gear icons in menu. Sprint in town is a game changer. Walking in town feels soo slow without it.

It is just an awesome app that deserves the praise. I saw on Reddit today someone playing it on their Nintendo 3DS. Pretty sure they have a version for every device on their Github https://github.com/diasurgical/devilutionx.

Anyways if your a classic Diablo fan you need to check it out if you already haven't.
